Marion Jones’ rise played out on the world’s biggest stage; so did her fall

Summary

Marion johns participated in the Olympics and managed to win several medals. She won three gold medals and two bronze medals. At the time she couldn't have felt more accomplished or so people would think. However after some time she announced that she had lied to the officials and had used performance enhancing drugs. She was stripped of her medals and even sentenced to six months in prison.

Reflection

This is one example of how everything has a consequence. Marion chose to do the wrong by using drugs and paid the prize. She has lost her credibility in the eyes of people all over the world. It would have been better for her to do her best and competed honorably without the use of drugs and not have gotten a medal than for this to happen to her. Don’t do anything that you will regret because your choices have consequences and they will follow you wherever you go. Choose the right.
