Student Success Statement
“Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan “Press On” has solved and will always solve the problems of the human race.”
-Calvin Coolidge, 30th president of the United States
Reflection
I agree with our past president what good is being talented if you are not doing anything with that talent. Like-wise what good is being a genius at something if you are not doing anything with it. If you really only on talent or genius you will never reach your full potential. If you feel that you are not good at something don’t despair, because that is what practice is for; Practice makes perfect.
